Flangeforms are installed by lapping 2′, 3′ and 4′ segments over one another to create a void length specified by the design engineer. While they are capable of providing the structural profile required, the lapping of the forms creates offsets that create a class “D” finish (up to 1″ offsets)
If the finish required is better than a class “D”, then some other type of form should be specified.
